CartoonTavern Studios LLC, Fall 2022

CartoonTavern Studios LLC is a group being created by MICA Animation Alumni. With the goal of becoming a member-managed artist collective, the Studio will support independent animators on the East Coast. After winning the People’s Choice Award at the 2023 MICA Up/Start Challenge, CartoonTavern waims to supply its members with animation software, as well as promote their work online under the Studio name. Thus far, the project has been spearheaded by Emma Barany, Gabriel Portillo, Faith ShaKira, and Nzuri Parker. Featured below are preliminary logo designs (original sketch by Gabe) and a sneak-peek of the branding process.
